George William Ochieng, the father of the late Stoopid Boy, says he is leaving his son’s death in God’s hands and has urged Kenyans to stop accusing Oga Obinna of sacrificing him.
The father of the late musician Stoopid Boy has broken his silence following the death of his son, describing the loss as painful and asking the public to give the family space to grieve.
Speaking about the tragedy, George William Ochieng identified himself as Stoopid Boy’s father and said he had lived with his son, making the loss particularly difficult.
“Mimi kwa majina ni George William Ochieng, mimi ndio babake Stoopid Boy,” he said.
George revealed that the family had already gone through another painful loss just three months earlier when he buried Stoopid Boy’s elder sibling.
He said losing another child so soon after burying his other son had left him with deep pain.
“Miezi tatu iliyopita, nilizika ndugu yake mkubwa. Na sai nimepoteza Stoopid Boy,” he said.
Despite the pain, Stoopid Boy’s father said he had chosen to leave the situation in God’s hands, accepting that some things are beyond the family’s control.
“Chenye naweza sema tu namuachia Mungu kwa sababu ni mipango yake, haikuwa kupenda kwetu,” he said.
Father asks Kenyans to stop accusing Oga Obinna
George also addressed claims circulating online linking Oga Obinna to his son’s death.
Some Kenyans have accused the podcaster of being involved in Stoopid Boy’s death, with some even making claims that he allegedly “sacrificed” the young musician.
However, Stoopid Boy’s father has urged people to stop spreading such accusations.
His remarks come amid an emotional public conversation surrounding the circumstances of the musician’s death, with social media users continuing to debate what happened and who, if anyone, should be held responsible.
For George, however, the focus at the moment appears to be mourning his son and leaving the matter to God rather than engaging in online accusations.
The family is now dealing with the loss of Stoopid Boy barely three months after the death and burial of his elder sibling.
