Andy Deh’s remarks about endometriosis have sparked fierce backlash, with Eric Omondi and other Kenyans accusing him of spreading harmful claims about the condition.
Kenyans have erupted in anger after MC Full Stop’s son, Andy Deh, appeared to link endometriosis to the use of emergency contraceptives and family planning methods.
Andy made the remarks during a podcast discussion about Natalie, the NTV host who recently opened up about her battle with endometriosis.
“Most definitely MaP2 na family planning. Nyinyi mumeanza kuingisha ma-emotions. Tuache kutafuta solutions, tuanze kudeal na problem and the problem ni map2,” Andy said during the discussion.
The comments quickly sparked outrage online, with many Kenyans accusing him of spreading misinformation about a serious medical condition.
The controversy was amplified after Eric Omondi shared the clip on his social media platforms and called for Andy to be arrested over the remarks.
“Please help me find this guy. We want to use him as an example for the rest,” Eric said.
“Endometriosis is a MONSTER that has claimed the lives of so many of our sisters, mothers and wives. To joke about it for the sake of clicks and views cannot be forgiven. Huyu by kesho asubui atakua Kortini aki regret this moment,” he added.
Content creator Nick Bigfish also questioned how the clip made it online, pointing out that several people were involved in producing the podcast.
“A grown up shot this, edited it, added graphics to it, rewatched it, and still thought it was fit to upload online. There are some things I’ll forever struggle to comprehend,” Nick said.
Andy, however, appeared unfazed by the backlash and directly responded to Eric.
“Eric Omondi, what do you mean you’re looking for me? My number is in my bio. Sasa wewe unataka kusema you cannot find me? Look for me. You think you’re a DCI or police? You’re the police to look for me, come look for me,” he said.
The controversy has also dragged the late musician Stoopid Boy into the discussion.
Musician Kapitani criticised Andy over his remarks about the late artiste and his comments about Natalie.
“Stoopid Boy amekufa kijana bado anaongea mingi, bado anaongelea Natalie vibaya, hiyo podcast hiyo, huyo kijana anaongea sana kudisrespect watu. Uyo kijana ako na umama, aliongelelea adi step dad wake vibaya,” Kapitani said.
During the same podcast, Andy also took aim at Stoopid Boy, dismissing his musical talent despite attempts by his fellow hosts to get him to let the deceased musician rest.
“Tangu huyo kijana akufe sijaona any honest person akakuja akasema ukweli. Uyo kijana alikuwa anafanya ujinga, this guy hakuwa talented, this guy was a one-hit wonder,” Andy said.
His comments have now placed him at the centre of a growing online storm, with Kenyans sharply divided over the podcast and the decision to publish the controversial remarks.
