Geoffrey Mosiria has questioned why several people who have worked with or appeared on Oga Obinna’s show have eventually fallen out with the popular media personality.
Geoffrey Mosiria has questioned the pattern of strained relationships between Oga Obinna and some of the people who have previously worked with or appeared on his show.
Speaking about the issue, Mosiria challenged Obinna to explain why several personalities who once appeared close to him are no longer associated with him.
“Why is it that anybody who works with you, they don’t want to stay with you?” Mosiria asked.
He went on to mention several names, including comedian Mulamwah, Dem Wa Facebook, Baba County, Mama County and Sammy Boy, while questioning what happens to guests after appearing on Obinna’s show.
Mosiria Accuses Obinna of Exposing Guests to Online Backlash
According to Mosiria, some people who appear on Obinna’s show do so with the expectation that they will receive support, care or an opportunity to improve their lives.
However, he argued that the way some guests are questioned, presented and discussed can expose them to intense reactions from viewers online.
Mosiria claimed that the language used, the questions asked and the manner in which certain stories are framed can leave guests vulnerable to criticism, trolling and online bullying.
“Most people come to your show seeking help,” Mosiria said, adding that some of them could already be dealing with personal struggles, including mental health challenges and depression.
His remarks appeared to suggest that public exposure can sometimes have consequences for people who are already in vulnerable situations.
Sammy Boy Incident Raised by Mosiria
Mosiria also brought up Sammy Boy while making his argument.
He claimed Sammy Boy contacted him after appearing on Obinna’s show, alleging that the media personality had embarrassed him.
Mosiria further claimed that Sammy Boy later called him after being involved in an accident and asked for assistance in recovering his vehicle.
The claims made by Mosiria have not, in themselves, established what caused Sammy Boy’s alleged accident or whether his experience was directly connected to his appearance on Obinna’s show.
Mosiria Questions the Impact of Obinna’s Show
