Geoffrey Mosiria has urged comedian Oga Obinna to seek God and clear the air amid growing speculation surrounding his association with the late artistes Stoopid Boy and Shalkido.
Mosiria, speaking in a video whose remarks were transcribed, appealed to Kenyans to stop accusing Obinna of being an “Illuminati” member without evidence, even as he encouraged the comedian to reflect on his life and relationships.
According to Mosiria, Obinna has tried to mentor and support several celebrities over the years. However, the deaths of Shalkido and Stoopid Boy have led some social media users to question his association with the two artistes.
Mosiria insisted that such accusations should not be treated as facts without evidence.
“People are coming into conclusions without any proof,” he said, urging Kenyans to give Obinna time to mourn Stoopid Boy.
Mosiria tells Obinna to seek God
While defending Obinna against the accusations, Mosiria also delivered a personal message to the comedian.
“Obinna rudi kwa Mungu,” Mosiria said, urging him to go to church, repent and seek God’s guidance.
Mosiria suggested that Obinna should take a step back and examine some of the things happening around him, particularly given his association with entertainers whose lives have ended tragically.
However, he acknowledged that there was no basis for openly accusing Obinna of being responsible for their deaths.
Mosiria said people should allow God to determine everyone’s path instead of drawing conclusions based on speculation circulating online.
Mosiria raises concerns over ‘666’ marking
Mosiria also brought up what he described as a “666” marking on one of Obinna’s cars.
He advised Obinna to consider changing it, arguing that the symbol could invite different interpretations and give critics more ammunition to attack his reputation.
His comments come as social media users continue dissecting different aspects of Obinna’s public life amid the controversy.
‘Reconcile with everyone’
Mosiria further advised Obinna to make peace with people he has previously associated with or helped.
He mentioned personalities including Dem Wa Facebook, Baba County, Mama County, Kartelo, Majembe, Mbavu and Mosiria himself.
Mosiria also described himself as someone who does not hold grudges and said he considers Obinna a brother.
He urged Obinna to reconcile with people where there may have been disagreements, arguing that making peace could help him avoid unnecessary conflicts.
Mosiria asks Obinna to clear his name
Mosiria ultimately called on Obinna to publicly explain his relationship with the artistes he has supported and mentored.
He said Obinna should make it clear that helping an artiste does not mean he is responsible for whatever happens to them afterwards.
Mosiria maintained that Stoopid Boy’s death and the death of Shalkido should not automatically be connected to Obinna simply because of their associations.
“I personally don’t keep a grudge. I value you as a brother,” Mosiria said.
His remarks come amid intense online conversations following Stoopid Boy’s death, with various theories and accusations being shared across social media.
However, Mosiria did not provide evidence linking Obinna to the deaths, and the claims and spiritual interpretations circulating online remain allegations and speculation.
The bigger message from Mosiria was a call for restraint, reconciliation and accountability, while urging Obinna to address the questions surrounding his public image.
