Content creator Modesto Wangombe has made a series of explosive allegations against media personality Oga Obinna, claiming that the comedian’s involvement with young content creators has somehow been linked to their deaths.
In a fiery statement circulating online, Wangombe accused Obinna of being involved in what he described as a pattern surrounding young creators who receive his support.
Wangombe went as far as making an unsubstantiated claim that Obinna is a “devil worshipper” who allegedly “steals the souls” of young content creators and uses them to enrich himself.
“Obinna you’re a devil worshipper, you steal souls of young content creators and you use them to make yourself rich,” Wangombe alleged.
He then referenced the deaths of Shalkido and Stoopid Boy, claiming that Obinna had previously helped the two creators before their deaths.
According to Wangombe, the alleged connection should raise questions about Obinna’s involvement with upcoming creators.
“Oga Obinna akikusaidia lazima ukufe,” he claimed, loosely suggesting that creators who receive Obinna’s help eventually die.
Wangombe also mentioned Kartelo, warning him against what he described as a similar situation.
“Kartelo asijaribu kufa nitakukujia. Utajua mimi ni nani,” he said.
Claims remain unverified
Wangombe’s remarks are allegations and have not been substantiated by evidence. There is currently no established evidence presented in his statement proving that Oga Obinna caused, contributed to, or was otherwise responsible for the deaths of Shalkido or Stoopid Boy.
The comments come amid heightened public attention surrounding the deaths and struggles of young Kenyan content creators, with debates continuing online about mental health, financial struggles, exploitation and the responsibility of people within the entertainment industry.
The allegations against Obinna should therefore be treated as claims rather than established facts unless credible evidence or official findings emerge.
